Day 1: Cusco – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town)
06:30 Pick up from your Hotel and travel to the north of the city of Cusco by tourist transportation.
12:30 approximately Lunch
15:00 approximately Arrival at Hidroeléctrica. From this point you must walk along the side of the train line, here you will find a number of travelers heading to the same destination. The path is signposted and you will be arriving at Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town) at approximately 6:00 p.m. The hydroelectric walk is from 2 hours to 4 hours, depending a lot on the physical condition of each person.
