Purchase and cancellation policies, terms and conditions

1.- RESERVATIONS:
All reservations must be confirmed by request through our email info@trekkingtomachupicchu.com with a copy to trekkingtomachupicchu@gmail.com and contact will be established by email or telephone to coordinate details. When requesting confirmation of services, you must consider the following information in your email:

• Full name of the passengers.
• Identity document number.
• Nationality and language.
• Ages (also of children if there are any).
• Travel and return date.
• Indicate the passenger’s cell phone or WhatsApp number for personalized attention.
• Code and type of package requested.
• Name of the airline or land company as well as flight times and numbers.
• Name of hotel and type of room chosen by the passenger.
• Details of the additional services required (not included in our program).
• Detail health restrictions or other reasons stated by the passenger.

2.- PAYMENTS:
After confirming the reservation in advance, you must make the payment of 50% of the total amount of the service:
Payment Methods: Visa online, Deposit in checking accounts, Paypal (Ask for your payment method).

The difference must be deposited before the arrival of the passengers. Once each deposit has been made, they must send the corresponding voucher scanned by email, or in the case of a transfer, the details and operation number.

3.- RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Viva Peru Company is responsible for complying with the entire itinerary detailed in the tourist package, including all the services detailed therein. The company is not responsible for interruptions in the normal development of the package due to force majeure beyond our control such as climatic, political, social problems, etc.
• Viva Peru Company is committed to providing quality service and ensuring the satisfaction of THE CLIENT.
• Viva Peru Company, for justified reasons, reserves the right to modify the itinerary it deems necessary but always thinking about the satisfaction of the CLIENT
• Viva Peru Company will issue the corresponding invoice for the service provided to the CLIENT and will be delivered at the appropriate time.
• The CLIENT’s luggage, jewelry and personal items are the exclusive responsibility of the CLIENT.

4.- MODIFICATIONS:
Our company may modify the order of the excursions, whenever it considers it strictly necessary for the safety or better success of the service.

5.- RATES:
• Rates are in American dollars and in new soles, they are valid as indicated in the chosen package.
• They may vary according to the inflation index.
• Does not include VAT.
• Rate applicable to Peruvians, residents and foreigners.

6.- MINORS:
• Children are considered to be from 03 to 09 years old. Children will have a 5% discount on the normal rate with the right to all services.
• In the case of children from 01 to 02 years old who sleep with their parents, they will be subject to a payment as an additional person and the charge will depend on the policies of the chosen accommodation.
• Children 10 years old and older pay the full rate except for the tour to Machu Picchu which would have a student rate.

7.- CANCELLATIONS, PENALTIES, REFUNDS:
• Cancellations of an already confirmed reservation must be made immediately in order to obtain a 100% refund. After a few hours, the company must adapt to its policies.
• Cancellations (cancellation of the service) must be made by phone and confirmed by email to: info@trekkingtomachupicchu.com, between 30 days and 28 days before starting the service and the company will charge 30% of the prepayment paid, for management and administrative expenses.
• The tour to Machu Picchu cannot be rescheduled, modified, or cancelled; all sales are final.
• No refunds will be made to the CLIENT for services not used voluntarily, due to illness, accidents or other reasons, on the scheduled date and time, nor may they be used at another time.
• If the CLIENT voluntarily renounces the use of the contracted program, he or she will not be entitled to any type of refund.
• Cancellations made after 30 days of starting the program will be declared a No Show by the agency and the CLIENT will not be entitled to any type of refund.
• In the case of postponements, the validity is 3 months from the date of the original reservation, under the same conditions and at the updated rate.
